Q. What exactly is the Workplace Training Institute?
A. The Workplace Training Institute (WTI) is a program dedicated to meeting the English language and computer training needs of company employees. The goal of this program is to educate employees to gain the skills they need to be promoted, receive pay increases, and to comfortably live in Napa County.
Q. How long are the classes?
A. The classes vary in length. Please email WTISupport@nvusd.org for more information.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. The prices vary according to the number of hours we teach. A typical 40 hour language course costs the business $2000 and a 6 hour computer course costs the business $550. Please email WTISupport@nvusd.org for more information.
Q. Is this program for individuals who want to find work or a career?
A. No, this program is designed for businesses and organizations who want training for their employees.
Q. What kinds of language training do you offer?
A. We teach ESL (English as a Second Language), Spanish, French, Italian and Sign Language.
Q. What kind of computer training do you offer?
