Mr. Jordan s ImageFor the last six months, our valley, our county, our state, and our world have been reeling from the effects of COVID-19. This past March Napa Valley Adult Education (NVAE) switched to all virtual, on-line classes as we joined the effort to flatten the curve. As classes have gotten underway this fall, the majority of our classes remain virtual. A few of our programs have been given permission to hold classes in person, and as Napa Valley Unified School District follows its phased reopening plan, our program will do the same.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  NVAE teachers have and continue to develop their virtual teaching skills to ensure our students continue to receive the quality instruction we are known for. It is our hope that we can bring more students on campus soon, but not before essential safety protocols are in place and our reopening plans have been approved by the school district and County Health.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          The silver lining to all this change is that many of our students and their teachers have reported the virtual environment offers a great deal more flexibility for students who are now able to fit school around their work schedule. This is an important lesson we will carry forward as we emerge from this pandemic. NVAE is committed to maintaining this flexibility and offer our programs in a manner that works best for our students.

If you are ready to (re)imagine starting an educational pathway leading to a new career, please call us and let’s talk about how it is possible.
