Q: What does the field of study Human Services involve?
A: Human Services includes a range of work that supports adults and children in the community: social worker, counselor, therapist, family support worker, advocate, and case manager, among others.
Q: What are the prerequisites?
A: All Adult Education students must be 18 years or older. They must be able to read English at 8th grade level or higher, and be able to do math at 8th
grade level or higher. Students must have access to a computer and reliable internet.
Q: When is the class?
A: The class is offered on Thursdays from 6pm-8:30pm. One evening per week is in person (Thursday) in addition to 2.5 hours of assignments per week
