FIRST STEP
Is your child enrolled in a Napa elementary school for the fall? Does your child have little or no preschool experience? Your family may be eligible for our FREE First Step program.
Your Child Will:
•Be exposed to classroom structure and routines.
•Practice pre-reading and early math skills.
•Receive free books.
•Interact with their peers.
•Receive early intervention, as needed.
•Benefit socially and academically from this 3 week kindergarten preparation program.
Parents Will:
- Learn about your child’s first year in school.
- Discover educational games to play with your child at home.
- Meet other parents and make new first year school friends.
- Receive free books and materials to teach your child.
- Be offered childcare for siblings while in class.
