Students will learn the essential knowledge and skills that are needed to work in an entry level construction job. Learn practical math, such as decimals and fractions. Students will learn safety guidelines to identify, predict, prevent and stop potential hazards. Learn how to use and maintain hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools. Learn about the materials used in construction with an emphasis on framing and structural elements of building. Check or website for orientation information.
